FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

What are neuromodulators?

Neuromodulators are injectable treatments like Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Daxxify® that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles to smooth fine lines and prevent deeper wrinkles from forming. They’re one of the most effective and trusted non-surgical anti-aging solutions.

How do neuromodulators work?

Neuromodulators block the communication between nerves and muscles, reducing muscle movement in specific areas. This softens expression lines and helps create a smoother, more refreshed appearance while still looking natural.

What areas can be treated?

Common treatment areas include:

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines (“11s”)
  • Crow’s feet
  • Bunny lines
  • Lip flip
  • Chin dimpling
  • Masseter slimming/teeth grinding
  • Brow lift
  • Neck bands

Will I look frozen or overdone?

When performed by an experienced, medically trained injector, neuromodulators look natural, subtle, and refreshed—not frozen. Your facial expressions remain soft and natural.

How long do results last?

Most patients enjoy results for 3–4 months, although individual metabolism, dosage, and muscle strength can affect longevity. With consistent treatments, results may last longer.

When will I see results?

You can expect to see noticeable improvement within 3–7 days, with full results typically visible at 2 weeks.

Is there downtime?

There is no downtime, and you can return to normal activities immediately. We simply recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and lying flat for a few hours after treatment.

Are neuromodulators safe?

Neuromodulators have been FDA-approved and widely used for decades. When administered by trained medical professionals, they are considered extremely safe and low risk.

Does it hurt?

Discomfort is minimal—most patients describe the injections as a small pinch that lasts only a second. We offer topical numbing and a gentle injection technique for added comfort.

Who is a good candidate?

Ideal candidates include anyone wanting to soften wrinkles, prevent signs of aging, lift the brows, slim the jawline, or achieve a smoother, more youthful appearance without surgery.

Can neuromodulators prevent wrinkles?

Yes. Consistent treatment helps prevent deeper lines from forming over time, making neuromodulators one of the most effective preventative anti-aging options.

Can I get neuromodulators while pregnant?

No. For safety, neuromodulators are not recommended during pregnancy.

How much product will I need?

Dosage varies based on your anatomy, muscle strength, and aesthetic goals. During your consultation, your injector will create a customized plan to deliver natural, balanced results.

What is the difference between Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Daxxify®?

All are FDA-approved neuromodulators that work in similar ways. Differences include onset time, spread, and formulation, but the right choice depends on your goals and your injector’s clinical recommendation.
